Kokomo man to seek re-election to Indiana Senate

by indystar on November 03, 2009

Sen. Jim Buck, R-Kokomo, announced today that he will run for re-election in 2010.

If elected, Buck would serve his first full term in the Indiana Senate representing District 21, which includes parts of Hamilton, Boone, Tipton and Howard counties.

A former state representative, Buck was chosen in 2008 to serve the remainder of former Sen. Jeff Drozda’s term after Drozda moved to South Carolina as part of his job.

Before he joined the Senate, Buck was a state representative for 14 years.

He serves the Energy and Environment, and Tax and Fiscal Policy committees in the Senate, according to a press release Buck sent today.

Attempts to reach Buck today were unsuccessful.
